Cat companions, leisurely phone calls, interjections from overbearing dads – a recent USA Today piece put the spotlight on the job interview sins of Millennials and there are plenty to catalog. You’d think basic skills in how to present yourself in such a way as not to alienate those folks who would be signing your prospective pay check might have been taught (or at least offered) at some point in Gen Y’s higher ed experience, but you’d apparently be wrong. The thing is, if you’re a new grad who is lucky enough to land an interview for a white-collar job in this economy, figuring out how to ace your face time with your potential employer should be keeping you up at night.
