VERTEX

Created by Abacus Data Inc. in partnership with the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs at Carleton University, the Vertex Panel is an interactive, online community of Canada’s leading public policy players.

Panelists include parliamentarians, political staff, senior public servants, representatives of business and labour organizations, advocacy leaders, media commentators, and prominent scholars.  This online community is the first of its kind in Canada, and presents an exciting opportunity to share ideas and aggregate expert opinion at a national level.

We have assembled a group of highly influential and knowledgeable Canadians in the public policy community.  Understanding and analyzing the opinions of such opinion leaders provides valuable insight into the where Canadian public policy is and where it may be going.  The research conducted with the Vertex Panel will also offer Canadians insight into what influential Canadians think and believe.

The reports of the monthly surveys will be made public here.

If you are interesting in sponsoring research or joining the panel, please contact David Coletto

Why “Vertex”?

The dictionary defines vertex as: the highest point of something; apex; summit; top: the vertex of a mountain.

We named the panel Vertex because its members are at the highest level in the public policy community and are at the pinnacle of experience and knowledge in Canadian public policy development and research.
